American Louver Company's Exclusive "Absolute Vacuum Manufacturing" Process, which occurs inside a vacuum chamber under the purest of conditions. AVM is the process that produces the exceptional UltraLux "Triple Finish," featuring incredible reflectivity and ease of maintenance. After aluminum deposition (metalization) takes place, a protective film in the form of a gaseous-state polymer is introduced into the chamber. The polymer is bonded to the aluminum by inducing ions in to the chamber from a high-voltage cathode assembly. This polymerization is followed by the application of an evaporated silicon top coat.
