Kydex was developed by the Rohm & Hass company in 1966. In 1987 the Kydex product line was sold and the Kleerdex Company was established. Since that time Kleerdex has developed a large number of grades of Kydex to best service specific industries. Kydex is flame resistant material used in the Mass Transportation, Aerospace, Wall covering, store fixture industries. It is vacuum formed, thermoformed, membrane pressed and laminated for many applications.
Kleerdex’s parent company developed static dissipative coating for Acrylic, Polycarbonate and PVC sheet. Kleerdex has the country’s most modern and innovative facility to coat these products. Kleerdex offer’s their Eslon DC coated products made and stocked in their Bloomsburg, PA manufacturing plant.
