LubX for high(R) performance sliding materials

Energy conservation is at the top of everyone’s mind so when manufacturing projects for use in conveyor systems call for plastic parts, we often recommend LubX engineered plastics from Rochling.

LubX plastics have outstanding dry-running properties at their disposal and were developed especially for materials handling and automation technologies. Traditional plastics used for these purposes are less energy efficient than LubX plastics because of LubX’s low coefficent of friction, eliminating the chance of back-sliding by almost 100%!

The developers of LubX products also took the tribological system of sliding partners in an integrated manner. By studying and testing individual motions of transport segments, they were able to create a versatile product that worked well with other common parts in conveyance systems.

A key feature of the LubX plastics is its ability to increase energy efficiency in your systems. Because of it’s optimized sliding properties in conveying processes, the energy required for your equipment to run is minimized, ultimately increasing performance and efficiency of your entire plant. One of the key factors that sold us on LubX is that Rochling Engineered Plastics KG used parts made from this plastic in their own pilot plants.

We often recommend LubX S for PET (like beverage bottles) sliding partners, and LubX C for POM and steel sliding partners (like chain conveyors). Both have noise reducing properties, suitable for contact with food and have a coefficient of friction 60-75% less than traditional plastics.
