Now an engineering plastic that can be sensed by metal detectors and is FDA Compliant.  Röchling tested this product on equipment at some of the country’s largest food processing companies.  The quality engineers at these companies were extremely impressed with Sustarin® C MDT and felt this product would help reduce the possibility of small components or shavings getting into their food products and causing a serious health threat.

The mechanical, thermal and chemical resistant properties of this product remain identical to standard Acetal.  Röchling will make this material available in the same sizes as standard Acetal.  Sheet in 3/8” to 4” thick and Rod in 1/4” Diameter to 8” Diameter.  The material is a brilliant blue color for further identification.
